Gumdrop Tower
One of the leadership activities that has been used to develop team work and enhance the understanding of the importance of planning is the gum drop tower activity. Students got into groups and built towers with gumdrops and straws. They were given the task of building the tallest structure in the class. The designs were unique and were of various heights. Some actually stood up for quite some time.
